We are looking for an Applications Engineer to bridge vehicle requirements and Client behavior through in-vehicle verification, drive testing, and root cause analysis. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands‑on vehicle work, system‑level thinking, and translating real‑world usage into optimized Client performance.
The Applications Engineer plays a key role in ensuring customer‑facing attributes such as range, charging performance, and drivability are achieved while supporting vehicle integration and issue resolution throughout development and validation phases.
Skill Team Role- Tunes Client application parameters, including:
- State of Charge (SOC) / State of Health (SOH)
- Operating limits and derates
- Thermal control strategies
- Cell balancing strategies
- Supports vehicle integration and drive testing activities.
- Translates vehicle usage profiles into Client application settings and behaviors.
- Supports performance optimization for customer‑facing attributes such as:
- Vehicle range
- Charging performance
- Drivability and responsiveness
- Assists with issue resolution during vehicle builds, testing, and validation phases.
- Supports root cause analysis in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
- Communicates application behavior, risks, and improvement opportunities to stakeholders.
- Other duties as required to ensure program success.

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Master's degree preferred
- Experience with Client application, vehicle integration, or embedded systems
- Hands‑on vehicle testing or calibration experience preferred
Technical
- Strong understanding of Client application behavior and vehicle interaction
- Experience tuning SOC/SOH models, limits, thermal controls, and balancing strategies
- Ability to interpret vehicle usage data and translate it into application settings
- Experience with vehicle testing and in‑vehicle validation
- Familiarity with EV performance metrics such as range, charging, and drivability
