Minimum Requirements:

• Current Michigan School Administrator certification or enrolled in a program leading to School Administrator certification within six months after start of employment.
• Ability to inspire wonder in students and staff.
• Ability and willingness to think "outside of the box"
• Effective conflict resolution skills
• Dedicated to the success of the whole child and family
• Able to stay focused and self-assured despite the barrage of personal and professional challenges common during rapid systemic reconfiguration.
• Cleared criminal background check and signed statement regarding felony indictments/convictions
• Effective use of technology, as a means of analyzing academic achievement data, and as a tool to aid in communications with stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication using proper grammar and vocabulary.
• Exemplary work habits verified by previous employers.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Desired Requirements:

• Successful experience as a teacher.
• Previous experience in a school leadership role.
• Knowledge and skills working with At-Risk students.
