TEKsystems is looking to hire several Call Center Customer Service Representatives for a Healthcare System located in Plymouth, MI.

Job Details- Job Title: Customer Service Representative
- Hours: must be available to work between Monday-Sunday 5a-10pm (your shift will be scheduled during this timeframe). This role is full-time and 40 hours; OT is available and at times mandatory.
- Training hours: M-F 8a-5p during the first 4 weeks. Then, shift bidding begins.
- Start date: 03/09/2026 — 6 month contract-to-hire with possible extension to 8-9 months
- Location: Plymouth, MI
- Job Type: Contract to Hire
- Pay: $21.00/hr
- Handle high-volume inbound calls from members, pharmacies, providers, and other partners, addressing questions related to prescription benefits, prior authorizations, eligibility, and general plan information.
- Respond to inquiries, research member and provider information, and document interactions while maintaining confidentiality and compliance standards.
- Conduct follow-up outbound calls to provide updates, clarify information, or resolve outstanding issues with clear, empathetic, and professional communication.
- Respond to questions involving confidential or sensitive information, following HIPAA and internal guidelines, and document call details in multiple internal systems.
- Navigate and utilize multiple software platforms (benefit tools, authorization systems, member databases, logs) and meet performance metrics (call quality, accuracy, productivity, customer satisfaction, adherence to schedule).
- Manage a daily workload of approximately 80-100 calls, troubleshooting issues related to prior authorization status, medication coverage, formulary questions, and pharmacy claim inquiries.
- Collaborate with internal departments to escalate or resolve complex cases as needed, ensuring information captured is complete, accurate, and compliant.
- High school diploma
- 2-3 years of call center experience
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and patiently
- Ability to complete typing test & call center assessment as part of proceeding in the process
