Teller – Full-Time
We are seeking a friendly, detail‑oriented, and service‑driven Teller to join our branch team in Plymouth, MI. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional member service while accurately processing a variety of financial transactions.
Responsibilities Member Service & Communication- Provide outstanding member service with professionalism, patience, attention to detail, and positive communication
- Represent the credit union in a friendly, helpful, and professional manner
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality with all member information
- Answer member inquiries and coordinate with other departments as needed
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist members promptly
- Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, loan payoffs, loan advances, IRA contributions, charge‑off payments, and night drop transactions
- Perform cash handling duties including maintaining and balancing a cash drawer and buying/selling currency from the vault
- Verify coin rolls, sort coin, and prepare coin for outgoing shipment
- Process travel notices, non‑member transactions, credit card payments, cash advances, and Canadian (foreign) checks
- Complete daily mail payments and drive‑thru transactions
- Process check orders, statements, transaction histories, and termination statements
- Issue money orders, traveler’s checks, Cedar Point tickets, and other negotiable instruments (balance monthly)
- Follow all policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
- Complete and pass required BVS training modules
- Submit accurate CTR/SAR documentation
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all assigned tasks
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including equipment setup, stocking supplies, and drive‑thru operations
- Maintain the appearance and organization of the teller line and teller window
- Assist with ordering supplies, organizing incoming shipments, and stocking the branch supply room
- Print, fold, and stamp daily notices
- Support other departments as needed (Loans, Accounting, Credit Cards, Member Service, Marketing, etc.)
- Assist in training new tellers
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and manage time well
- Dependable, professional, and eager to learn
- Prior cash handling or teller experience is a plus, but not required

Job Type & LocationPermanent, full‑time position based in Plymouth, MI.
Pay and BenefitsSalary: $35,360.00 per year.
Benefits:
Federal paid holidays, 2% 401(k) match, 10% salary contribution to 401(k) via money purchase program.
Fully onsite.
