Job Description

PNC Business Bankers provide cash flow solutions to businesses with annual sales from $1 million to $5 million. As a trusted advisor within a fast-paced environment, you will leverage your business acumen to facilitate cash flow conversations with clients and prospects. You will manage the ongoing sales cycle to optimize the cash flow of our business customers so they can achieve their goals.

PNC s targeted small business segments are Retail, Agricultural, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Professional Services, Wholesale and Women in Business. As a Relationship Manager in Business Banking you will develop and cultivate Center of Influence (COI) relationships to meet and exceed sales goals and business objectives. You will work with internal services partners to on-board and expand the business portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Handles relationship management activities with new and/or existing clients in a book of business to grow sales, revenue and market share with relevant sales goals. Works with clients with basic levels of risk and complexity of needs and generally operates with a higher degree of supervision.
  • With direction, acquires and/or expands and retains client relationships to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet. Manages origination, financial analysis, negotiation and documentation of credit and non-credit products and services.
  • Manages risk/return and drives quality for new and/or existing clients. Identifies and mitigates regulatory, reputational, operational and credit risks.
  • Focuses on client opportunities by providing ideas and insights based on the client s needs and financial well-being; aims to increase client engagement and loyalty.
  • Builds an effective network of internal and external relationships to acquire new clients and/or expand existing clients and enhance the client experience. Presents the full range of PNC s products and services and leverages reporting and sales tools to identify and convert sales opportunities.
  • Demonstrates ability to analyze, evaluate and mitigate credit risk using knowledge of credit fundamentals and internal credit policies (as defined with the business).
