We are looking for an experienced mason with a specialty in construction of highly detailed, architecturally complex chimneys and fireplaces

* Qualifications:

** Crew leaders require 3 year minimum of crew supervisory experience
* Must have knowledge and experience in building and reconstructing fireplaces from start to finish including, but not limited to: superstructures, hearths, fire boxes, flu’s, chimney caps and natural stone veneers
* Knowledge of flat and vertical masonry, including layout is preferred
* Competent in erecting and dismantling scaffolding
* Experience planning and ordering necessary materials for jobs
* Leader must understand state codes regarding fireplaces and structures
* Strong understanding of residential construction framing, flashing, and waterproofing
* Must have ability to read plans, perform take offs for materials and layout
* Experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders including General Contractor, Site Supervisors, Project Managers and Crew
* Ability to lead and mentor crew members
* Ability to stay productive while coordinating with site superintendents and multiple trades
* Ability and licensing to drive non-CDL trucks and trailers
* Reliability a must
* Experience with maintaining a safe work environment including jobsite cleanliness, PPE, and safety related practices related to masonry work
** Requirements:
*** Valid driver's license with a good driving record
* DOT certification is required for this role
* Ability to work in various weather conditions
* Good physical condition with an ability to lift over 40lbs
