Role Description
We are seeking a medical/laboratory equipment sales representative to join our dynamic team at Quantum Engineering, Inc. This position will be pivotal in maintaining and growing our market share in New England, focusing on building relationships within the MEP community. Working directly with consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, and facility engineers, candidate will educate design engineers, support installing contractors, and work directly with end users on equipment selection and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with Facilities and End Users to secure opportunities for new and replacement equipment business.
- Call on consulting engineering firms to educate them on new products, codes and various medical and lab applications.
- Support MEP contractors in the field on proper installation of equipment sold.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
- Develop Bid Proposals and Negotiate Pricing to secure business.
- Attend Trade Shows and local industry events.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Manage accounts effectively to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborate with the manufacturer's local Service Team to assure adequate product support is delivered to the customer.
Requirements
- 3+ years sales experience, preferably in healthcare construction.
- Ability to manage a sales territory, while cultivating new accounts and business.
- Highly motivated self-starter is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
- Must have a vehicle and valid driver's license for routine travel within territory.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and similar software.
- Willingness to participate in further training and educational opportunities.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
