The RN Manager – Endoscopy serves as an interim nurse leader for a high-volume Endoscopy and Pain Management Clinic
, providing immediate operational and clinical leadership. This role requires a hands‑on leader who can effectively manage staff, workflows, patient care standards, and departmental performance from day one.
- Provide interim nurse management leadership for the Endoscopy and Pain Management Clinic
- Oversee daily clinical and operational activities, ensuring safe, efficient patient care
- Lead and support nursing staff with a hands‑on leadership approach
- Manage staffing, scheduling, payroll, and budgeting using Kronos, Workday, and Laborlytics
- Utilize Epic (EPIC) for clinical documentation and workflow management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards
- Maintain patient flow and productivity in a high‑volume procedural environment
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Be prepared to step in and "
run the ship
" effectively and immediately
- 4 procedure rooms
- 1 Fibro Scan room
- 4 prep bays
- 6 recovery bays
- Nurse-to-patient ratios:
- 1:1 for procedures
- 1:2 for Phase II recovery
- 2 exam rooms
- 1 procedure room
- Nurse-to-patient ratios:
- 1:1 for procedures
- 1:2–3 for recovery, follow‑ups, and consults
- BSN required
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- 3–5 years of nursing leadership and nurse manager experience
- Epic (EPIC) experience required
- Experience with Kronos, Workday, and Laborlytics
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead immediately in an interim capacity
- Ability to pass EKG and medication exam (minimum 85% score required
) - Must be separated from BILH for 6+ months to be eligible
- CGRN certification
- Prior Endoscopy leadership experience
- Travel nursing experience
- Experience managing high‑volume procedural departments
- PASS/FAIL EKG and medication test required prior to acceptance
- Study materials will be provided prior to the proctored exam
