Overview

Hematology/Oncology opening in Plymouth, Massachusetts - 40 miles south of Boston

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematologist/Oncologist for this hospital-employed position that offers an outpatient-focused practice with inpatient consult responsibilities in a busy infusion service. The care team includes five physicians and two nurse practitioners, with a four-day workweek and an average daily census of 15–18 patients, along with approximately two inpatient consults during call. Call responsibilities are shared among the group, and the practice utilizes Epic as its EMR.

Physicians benefit from on-site radiation oncology featuring a state-of-the-art linear accelerator and SRS capabilities. The program is a longstanding independent member of ECOG/ACRIN, with excellent pathology and surgical subspecialty support, a clinical affiliation with a major Harvard academic tertiary center, and membership in the Beth Israel Lahey Health Hematology/Oncology Network. The Cancer Center and Breast Center are CoC-accredited and have received the Commission on Cancer Outstanding Achievement Award.

Pay Range

$375,000 - $400,000

The base pay range reflects what Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations.

In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include bonuses for productivity and quality HMFP also offers a comprehensive and generous employee benefits program to eligible employees, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement plan(s) with employer contributions.
