This role is responsible for providing data reporting and analytical collaboration with the Asset Management team who oversees a client’s portfolio of highly structured commercial real estate loans. This role will lead the creation and maintenance of various reports, analysis, presentations, data models, and analytical tools. They will partner closely with other data, reporting, and asset management teams to insure the efficient, accurate and relevant presentation of information.

Responsibilities
  • Works with internal stakeholders and clients to understand business needs and translate how technology can be applied for data collection, transformation, analysis, and presentation
  • Analyzes, interprets, and presents data using industry relevant commercial real estate asset management software such as RealINSIGHT
  • Supports the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, data mining, analytics, dashboards, presentations, etc. that drive meaningful, timely, and actionable insights and can be easily interpreted by users
  • Recommends process improvement opportunities – document current state process and create future state process documentation
  • Maintains and supports databases, including inputting and correcting data, determining formats, researching data conversions, establishing data specifications, configuration/integration, updating sources and ensuring data integrity
  • Builds data collection process, enriches existing in-house data, and works to ensure data quality and completeness
  • Teaches business users how to interact with the visualizations and interpret the results, and develop reference materials
  • Develops training programs and communication plans to improve user adoption and effectiveness of new and existing features
  • Coordinates with other stakeholders to resolve any issues related to report generation ensuring that all reports are created using efficient processes
  • Ability to proactively work in a fast-paced environment and take initiative to complete multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Identifies business process improvements to be made as a result of analytical insights
  • Other activities as may be assigned by your manager
Qualifications/ Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Mid-level professional with 2-4 years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically at an Analyst level role or external equivalent
  • Advanced Excel skills required with ability to join data across workbooks, transform data, and familiarity with Excel functions VLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH, Pivot Tables, etc.
  • Experience in Financial Services, Real Estate Finance highly preferred
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases a plus
  • Experience with commercial real estate asset management or servicing/special servicing systems such as RealINSIGHT, CAMs, Enterprise! or equivalent a plus
  • Experience with any enterprise reporting tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent a plus
  • Ability to find solutions to business problems from data-driven insights
  • Strong working knowledge of data management best practices and experience implementing and maintaining them
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and to draw valid conclusions
  • Solid business judgment, collaboration, and critical thinking skills
  • Must be able to explain technical concepts and procedures to non-technical users
