Project Accountant

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to support our Project Management team with cost tracking, financial reporting, and job-level analysis across active utility projects. This role is critical to helping analyze project financial performance and make informed decisions throughout the life of a job.

• Maintain accurate job cost reports, review labor, equipment, and material costs, support monthly forecasts, assist with invoices and change orders, and identify cost trends or risks early.
• Support internal controls, documentation, and process improvement related to project financial tracking.
• Work closely with Project Managers to track costs, review budgets, monitor variances, support forecasting, and assist with billing and change management.

• Experience in construction or utility environments is strongly preferred.
• Organized, dependable, and proactive, with a strong sense of accountability and urgency.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to manage multiple projects at once, and take ownership of accuracy and follow-through.

This is an in-office role based in Plymouth Meeting, PA, with regular interaction with project management and operations teams. Compensation is competitive and based on experience.
