Security Officer - University Campus Weekends

Allied Universal -  -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors by following site-specific, security-related procedures and post orders at an education location;
Operate entry screening points by conducting walkthrough and/or handheld metal detection, visual inspections of bags and packages, and directing individuals through screening procedures;
Control access by verifying identification and/or credentials, managing visitor check-in and badging, and maintaining entry logs in accordance with site requirements;
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed;
Document screening results, unusual activity, and incidents through accurate reports, and communicate observations to supervisors to help to deter prohibited items and/or unauthorized access
