Job Summary

The Lab Technician I is responsible for executing and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. They will aid other technicians in daily tasks while preparing raw materials for the extraction process. The Lab Technician I maintains compliance with iAnthus policies and all state and local regulations. The Lab Technician reports to the Lab Supervisor.

Starting Pay & Shift

Starting Pay Rate: $20.25/hr

Shift: Sun - Wed, 7:00 am – 5:30 pm

Responsibilities

• Perform duties outlined in the daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules as needed
• Clean and sanitize all lab tools and vessels
• Provide support to other technicians to ensure a seamless workflow
• Prepare raw goods for extraction
• Break down and sanitize extraction columns
• Aid in proper waste disposal
• Follow weekly production schedules to ensure a seamless workflow
• Uphold all iAnthus policies and procedures

Training & Development

• Development of extraction processing skills and material handling protocols
• Development of proper laboratory practices and procedures
• Development of professional skills
• Overall product knowledge development
• Adherence to iAnthus Time and Attendance Policies

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Prior lab experience preferred but not required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Teamwork oriented
• Good organizational skills
• Problem solving skills
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Proactive attitude
