Position Summary:
We are currently seeking dependable and safety-conscious Concrete Laborers with MSHA certification to join our construction team. The ideal candidates will have experience setting concrete forms and tying rebar in heavy industrial or mining environments. This role is critical to the successful completion of foundations, pads, and structural concrete work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and align concrete forms according to specifications and blueprints
- Tie and secure rebar and reinforcing mesh to structural drawings
- Assist with pouring, leveling, and finishing concrete as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Follow all site safety protocols, including MSHA regulations
- Work as part of a team under supervision of foremen and project managers
- MSHA Part 46 or 48 Certification (required)
- 1+ years of concrete construction experience preferred
- Proficiency in reading and understanding formwork and rebar layouts
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in outdoor conditions
- Commitment to safety, punctuality, and teamwork
- Familiarity with mining or heavy industrial job sites
- Experience with gang forms, wall forms, and structural concrete
- Basic carpentry or tool handling skills
