Health & Wellness Director
Location:
Sunol Creek in Pleasanton, CA
Days:
Sunday‑Thursday or Tuesday‑Saturday (On‑Call requirements)
$90,000 - $105,000 per year (actual pay based on skills and experience)
Responsibilities(Qt)- Lead by example: be visible, engage with residents, and support staff in daily care.
- Resident care planning: develop and.webkit implement personalized service plans aligned with physician orders.
- Effective communication: act as the key liaison between residents, families, staff, and health‑care दुकान.
- Compliance & documentation: maintain accurate records to meet state regulations.
- Hands‑on support: provide direct care when needed and supervise nursing services.
- Staff leadership & development: train, mentor, and guide wellness staff; conduct in‑ems and promote professional growth.
- Resident assessments: evaluate prospective residents’ care needs and suitability.
- Medication oversight: ensure accurate and safe management of medications.
- Emergency response: respond promptly to resident emergencies with proper documentation.
- Risk management:
identify at‑risk residents and implement proactive safety plans. - Wellness programming: lead programs that promote health, education, and preventive care to enhance quality of life.
- RN or LVN license (active, valid in California – preferred but not required).
- Minimum 1 year senior care experience; understanding of senior health needs.
- At least 2 years of team leadership experience.
- Medication expertise: strong knowledge of dosages and side effects.
- Integrity, problem‑solving, excellent communication, commitment to independence and dignity.
- Tech savvy: comfortable using essential software tools.
- Flexibility: willingness’ou work evenings, weekends, and serve as Manager on Duty as needed.
