Job SummaryWe are currently seeking a Production Lead to oversee manufacturing work and drive efficiency. They will help us redefine what success looks like by driving improvements in safety, quality, efficiency, customer service, and employee satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be passionate about collaboration and creating a culture of continuous improvement. A person who can think strategically and turn business objectives into value added activities.
Job Responsibilities- Lead a team of 10-15 production workers in a section of a precast concrete manufacturing plant
- Identify and eliminate at-risk safety behaviors and potential hazards
- Maintain open lines of communication between team members, work cells, and management
- Oversee employee training program and monitor individual progress
- Assume responsibility for scheduling and directing all dependent processes
- Evaluate manufacturing process to identify opportunities for improved efficiencies and mitigate downtime
- At least 3 years of Lead/Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is required
- Able to operate under pressure, meet strict deadlines, effectively prioritize workload and capacity to multi-task
- Ability to lead by example and build effective teams
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a factory environment and perform manual labor
- Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- The hourly pay rate is $/hr
