The Operator I is responsible for producing high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell. Under close supervision, this position performs assembly, repair, and testing tasks on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related medical device components. Work is routine, follows standardized procedures, and is continually reviewed for accuracy and quality.

• Perform assembly, repair, and testing operations on medical device products.
• Follow standardized procedures and ensure all documentation is accurate and current.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with manufacturing management regarding issues and solutions.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with internal teams and external visitors.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and use appropriate safety equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance production processes.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records to ensure traceability and compliance.
• Support departmental and divisional initiatives, including QMS, EMS, and other regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Assist supervisors/managers in setting and tracking performance goals and metrics.
• Prioritize tasks effectively and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
• Ability to use electronic data collection systems and computer software.
• Strong manual dexterity for handling small parts and components.
• Ability to work safely, make decisions independently, and manage workflow efficiently.
