Pay Range: $82,000 - $86,000

• Demonstrate mechanical ability or self‑teaching capability on equipment such as washers, dryers, refrigeration units, ice machines, minor plumbing, electrical problems, carpentry and painting.
• Electrical duties: troubleshoot, identify problems, and repair electrical issues including switches, lighting, receptacles, wiring, call systems, control devices, laundry, and kitchen equipment.
• Structural duties: plan, order, and install cabinets; perform carpentry tasks such as repairing or replacing sheetrock, plywood, or structural materials.
• Painting duties: plan, order, and perform interior and exterior painting; dispose of materials in compliance with local, state, and federal EPA guidelines.
• Plumbing duties: plan, order, and repair minor plumbing problems such as faucets, showers, drains, or other plumbing issues.
• Conduct daily inspections of the property’s outside grounds and correct any needed items to keep the property tour‑ready.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two (2) years experience in the building industry, maintenance, and/or housekeeping handling electrical, plumbing, and structural matters.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience supervising and managing employees.
• Able to safely operate a wide variety of equipment and tools.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn the theory and practice of assisted living and dementia care.
• Able to work with seniors and patiently interact with cognitively impaired individuals.
• Able to be flexible, adapt and respond to change, make decisions in stressful situations, and prioritize tasks and projects.
• Must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests, including physical and TB tests.
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and wearing PPE per regulatory guidelines.
