Morning Shift [7am-3pm], MID Shift [3pm-11pm] & NOC Shift [11pm-7am]

Pay Range
: $23.50 - $25.00 [Annual bonus and yearly increases]

• The EMT Safety Officer performs daily door monitoring checks and conducts scheduled internal and external rounds, and responds immediately to all emergency situations in the community, demonstrating exemplary customer service to all internal and external customers at all times.
• Respond to all emergency situations in the community using First Responder protocols and life safety policies and procedures.
• Assist the Safety Director with random mock testing and training of staff to ensure emergency preparedness.
• Be the highest-trained medical response officer within the Safety Department.
• Make scheduled rounds across the community, inside and outside buildings, to maintain a secure environment for residents, employees, and company property; always accompany medical bag/A.E.D. during rounds.
• Receive all persons who enter the Community at the Safety Kiosk in a courteous manner and assist residents, visitors, staff, or vendors to protect and present the best possible image of the Community.
• Assist with daily door monitoring checks; maintain departmental emergency equipment and supplies; ensure compliance with policies & procedures; report discrepancies and unsafe conditions to the Safety Director.
• Maintain regular communication with other Safety personnel during the shift.
• Demonstrate acts and principles of exemplary customer service/hospitality and respond to and document customer complaints professionally.

• CALIFORNIA STATE EMT CERTIFICATION
• Current CPR with AED.
• Eighteen years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to speak, read and understand English in addition to strong written skills.
