Associate Civil Engineer

Position located in Pleasanton, CA office. Qualified candidates interested in land development design, public infrastructure design, and/or hydrology and hydraulic stormwater/flood control modeling, or a combination, are encouraged to apply. B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET‑accredited university is required. Professional Civil Engineer registration in California preferred. Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Work under the general direction of senior staff on a wide range of land development and public infrastructure projects including residential, commercial, and mixed‑use developments; as well as sanitary sewer, water supply, water resources, and storm drainage projects. Assignments may include supervision of junior and assistant level staff, AutoCAD Civil 3D design and drafting, grading and earthwork design, hydrology/hydraulics calculations, and coordination with public agencies and other consultants.

• Minimum of 4 years of land development and/or public infrastructure design experience in California.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Some project management experience preferred (client and agency communication, coordination with team design consultants, compiling submittals, preparing project schedules, assisting with proposal writing).
• Competence in hydrology & hydraulics modeling is a plus.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with a team.

$50 – $65 an hour.
