Express Employment Professionals of Stockton is hiring a Continuous Improvement Engineer for a growing engineering and manufacturing company. This is a contract opportunity (3 months to 1 year) focused on leading Lean initiatives and delivering measurable improvements in productivity, quality, and cost performance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Lean and Six Sigma improvement projects
- Facilitate Kaizen events and value stream mapping
- Improve flow, yield, and first-pass quality
- Implement 5S, visual management, and standard work
- Track KPIs and report results to leadership
- Ensure compliance with ISO and customer standards
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations, or related field
- 5+ years of manufacturing/operational excellence experience
- Proven success leading Lean/Six Sigma projects
- Strong skills in root cause analysis and data analytics
- Proficient in Excel, Power BI, MS Project; ERP experience (JDE preferred)
