Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Development Quality Engineer for a Contract with a client in Pleasanton, CA. Candidate will have proven expertise leading risk management and design control activities to ensure safe, compliant medical device development.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $65/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr. Development Quality Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Lead design control deliverables and guide cross‑functional teams through product development activities.

• Drive risk management efforts from concept through commercialization, including FMEAs and risk assessments.

• Oversee design verification and validation planning, execution, and resolution of investigation findings.

• Support test method development and lead validation of new and existing test methods.

• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support process development, qualification, and component specification definition.

• Ensure compliance with FDA, EUMDR, and internal QMS requirements while supporting audits and quality system improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.

• 3–5 years of medical device (non‑software) experience, ideally supporting development quality.

• Experience leading risk management activities, including FMEAs and risk assessments.

• Experience in test method development and validation within regulated medical device environments.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $65.00 per hour
