Account Manager – Midstream Chemicals – Baker Hughes, Pleasanton, California, USA

Join our innovative Midstream Chemical Services Team.

Our Midstream Chemical Team uses technology consisting of chemistry equipment, knowledge, expertise, and correct application methods and monitoring to improve pipeline and terminal applications while providing value to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Monitoring application operating parameters.
  • Conducting field & product testing and recording and/or communicating results to supervisor.
  • Conducting maintenance on equipment as directed.
  • Completing product inventory management practices which may include inventory reporting, ordering and delivery.
  • Building general knowledge of basic industrial & business processes.
  • Successfully completing required training through participation in the LEADField Specialist Development Program which includes in-depth training activities focused on HS&E compliance, oilfield industry, and basic product line products and services.
  • Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, legal compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.
Qualifications
  • Two-year Technical College Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Knowledge of chemistry materials, process flows and petroleum engineering concepts is preferred.
  • General knowledge of basic processes and business principles.
  • Ability to think critically, work and communicate well with others and work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Ability to work in an industrial environment, including exposure to varying weather conditions, heights and the need for personal protective equipment (PPE).
