Senior Business Analyst

Location:

Pleasanton, CA 94566. Full‑time, Category Management, Insights and Planning. Salary range: USD $75,000 – $85,000 per year.

Support the National Director of Retail Operations by delivering accurate data analysis, creating insightful reports, and managing ad‑hoc projects. Demonstrate advanced MS Excel skills, strong problem‑solving abilities, and the capacity to take ownership of projects from inception to completion.

• Extract raw data from internal reporting systems and conduct in‑depth analysis of customer product flow.
• Consult with internal partners or external clients to present data findings and recommend actions that help meet business objectives.
• Extract data from third‑party market research resources, integrate with internal data, and perform trend analysis.
• Interpret results and present recommendations to business partners.
• Develop report specifications based on client needs and manage ad‑hoc projects requested by partners or clients.
• Proactively develop and deliver presentations as required by clients.
• Provide training and direction to lower‑level Business Analysts.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in an analytical position.
• Project management experience and strong analytical/problem‑solving skills.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas, VLOOKUP) and intermediate‑to‑advanced MS Access skills (query creation, VBA macros).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to make oral presentations and prioritize duties with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and perform essential functions in a primarily office environment.
