Pleasant View City is currently hiring a full-time Maintenance Worker - Storm Drain Technician to support our Public Works Department in Pleasant View, UT. This entry-level position plays a key role in maintaining city streets and stormwater systems. PAY: $20.39 to $29.49 per hour, depending on experience

WHATWE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A MAINTENANCE WORKER - STORM DRAIN TECHNICIAN
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid Utah driver's license
- Current CDL or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and safety practices
- Knowledge of basic practices and methods of pipeline repair and construction
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Ability to perform routine job tasks, such as mowing and weed maintenance
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to be on-call during assigned periods
- Learns quickly and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions

In this public works role, you'll assist with the maintenance and repair of city streets, sidewalks, storm drains, and detention basins. You'll operate heavy and light equipment, perform asphalt patching and crack sealing, clear storm drain inlets, mow roadside areas, and support snow and ice removal efforts. You'll also participate in emergency on-call rotations and routine equipment maintenance.
