Warehouse Forklift Operator

Overview

Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full Time Stand Up Forklift Operator in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.

• Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Maintain accuracy in picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading trucks.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours.
• Perform duties in accordance with performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator’s License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; able to work in a diverse environment.
• Ability to build professional relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Reliable, punctual with good attendance; thorough and dependable.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs; ability to stand for long periods.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work various shifts; health and safety aware.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
