Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Stand Up Forklift Operator in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.

• Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours of production
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team member; capable of working in a diverse environment
• Ability to build professional relationships at all levels of the organization
• Highly thorough and dependable; punctual with good attendance
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs; stand for long periods
• Ability to work with health and safety methods; flexible schedule on various shifts
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

• Warehouse positions pay weekly

• Pay:
  Hourly $19.25 per hour;
  Additional pay: $1.00 per hour when assigned to second shift
• $0.75 pay increase after 6 months; $1.00 increase after 1 year
• Schedule:
  
  Sunday - Tuesday 4:00pm - 4:00am;
  Wednesdays are 6-hour shifts with alternating hours every two weeks (4:00pm - 10:00pm and 10:00pm - 4:00am)

  Medical supplies;
  Equipment:
  Stand-up forklifts
