Position Description
Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Material Handler in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.
Compensation & Schedule- Hourly Pay $19.25 per hour
- Additional Pay: $2.00 per hour when assigned to second shift
- $0.75 pay increase after 6 months of employment
- Schedule:
2nd Shift Wednesday - Saturday 4:00 pm - 4:00 am (Half day on Wednesday)

- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience (preferred)
- Valid Forklift Operator's License (certified)

- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels
- Highly thorough and dependable
- Punctual with a good attendance record
- Performs work independently with minimal supervision
- High level of initiative
- Accuracy under pressure
- Can lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
- Can stand for long periods of time
- Follows health and safety methods
- Available for a flexible schedule across various work shifts
- Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
- Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
- Operate within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
- Accurately pick, pack, audit, tote, induce, stage products, and load/unload trucks
- Handle day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
- Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours of production
- Perform other duties as assigned
Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle record checks, a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
