Learn more:  As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine foot and driving patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor needs.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to tenants, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas, common spaces, and building perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and security-related concerns.

+ Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, verifying authorized entry, directing visitors, and assisting with badge and/or visitor management processes as required by site policy.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and communicating observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

+ Complete routine reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and participate in shift turnover briefings to support consistent post operations.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A minimum of 1+ years of security experience is required.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
