Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a WI or compact RN license and the ability to interpret tele strips.
Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting

• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts (19:00 to 07:00)

• Every other weekend required

• Epic EMR experience is preferred

• Must be free of latex allergies, as accommodations cannot be provided

• Return staff must be away for at least 1 year before eligibility as a traveler

• Locals accepted at a lower bill rate and must reside within a 50-mile radius

• Holiday coverage and floating may be required

• Travel pairs are accepted
Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license in hand

• Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg Tele experience

• Ability to interpret and sign off on telemetry strips

• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required before start date

• Two professional supervisor references required, with one from most recent assignment
