Must have Sr Level Mechanical experience with equipment and machines

Must have Sr Level Electrical experience equal to a Journeyman Electrician or above

If the candidate has held the title of Multi-craft Technician they are preferred

Nice-To-Haves

Can work as part of a team or alone.

Maintenance Technician II

Searching for multi-trade maintenance technicians to join our team. In these positions, they will be responsible for industrial machinery upkeep, working alone or with a crew. Technician must be a well-rounded individuals who can perform efficient work on a variety of equipment, executing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance.

Maintenance Technician Requirements and Qualifications

• Should hold a certificate or diploma in a related field

• Completion of an industrial maintenance apprenticeship program is a plus.

• Experience with Industrial maintenance required;
Corrective/breakdown experience preferred

• Thorough working knowledge of industrial equipment, its usage, and safety procedures

• Self-motivated, responsible, and Safety Oriented individual, LOTO

• Applies standard tools and techniques to solve problems.

• Demonstrates a positive "can-do" attitude.

• Takes responsibility for self-performance (Ability to manage time and responsibilities

independently).

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing results and meeting expectations.

• Must have a flexible schedule.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Job Duties

• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive and corrective maintenance requirements.
  • Equipment and tools include motors, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, coupling and motor alignment, roller chain/sprockets alignment, conveyor systems, and production machines. Capable of following diagrams, sketches, operations
  • manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
  • Troubleshoots malfunctions and complies with NEC standards on wiring and installations.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems; and using precision measuring tools.

• Removes defective parts by dismantling devices, using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools, some welding skills are required.

• Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.

• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, and alignment equipment.

• Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.

• Optimizes maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.

• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting actions, communicating irregularities, and scheduling correction of abnormalities.

• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Industrial Maintenance Tech Skills and Qualifications

Associate must be familiar with the use of:

• VOM

• Oscilloscope

• IR Temperature Probe

• Multimeter

• Megger

• DC & AC Amperage Clamp Meter

• General tools

Must be proficient reading and Interpreting Blueprints, Mechanical and Electrical Prints.

Technicians must be able to troubleshoot the following systems and processes while working the

floor. (Mostly Rockwell Automation but not limited to)

• AC Drives

• DC Drives

• Servo Drives

• PLC

• HMI

• Close loop control systems

• AC, DC, and Servo Motors

Machinist and Mechanic Skills

• Drill

• Grinder

• Pneumatics

• Hydraulics

• Valves

• Vacuum pumps

• Lubrication systems

• Lathe

QUALITY:

Maintain an attitude of learning to stay current with maintenance procedures and equipment.

Complete an annual Maintenance Skills Assessment and perform assigned training activities based on assessment results.

SAFETY:

Report all accidents, incidents, injuries and unsafe acts or conditions, immediately to the supervisor.

Must follow prescribed safety procedures to prevent injury and maintain safe equipment and conditions in entire plant.

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

Ability to meet the physical requirements of working safely in an industrial maintenance environment.

Follow all company environmental rules/procedures and handle all materials in a manner designed to minimize environmental impact.

After Manager has reviewed resume and selected for Next Steps candidate will be asked to take a Assessment test that will consist of a Sr Level Mechanical test, and Sr Level Electrical test. This test will be proctored via Microsoft Teams.
