Assembler - CB

Overview

This is a temporary position that will last 3-6 months.

The Assembler is an employee who is tasked with the assembly of parts to satisfy customers’ demands and expectations. Previous experience assembling heavy industrial equipment is highly desired.

Schedule:

Monday– Friday 6:00 AM– 2:30 PM

• Have Transported components and associated materials to the assembly station and arrange in orderly manner for assembly.
• Interpret the assembly blueprint as to the proper assembly sequence and method.
• Assemble components and test assembly (if applicable) to blueprint specifications using a large variety of hand tools and equipment.
• Document time and associated paperwork.
• Have Transported finished assemblies to the holding area for inspection and stock placing.
• Clean and keep area in an orderly and safe condition.
• Requires adjustments and testing of assemblies.
• Requires tack-welding occasionally.
• Ability to pass forklift test and operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
• Demonstrated knowledge of lifting devices and capacities. This includes jibs and the gantry bridge cranes.
