About This Job
Nosco is looking for a Customer Fulfillment Technician on our second and third shifts at our Pleasant Prairie, WI facility. As an employee owner in this position, you will be involved in the operation of a carton folding/gluing asset to perform the final step of digital folding carton production. The purpose of this position is to work alongside a folder/gluer operator to produce folded cartons to meet on-time delivery, high-quality expectations, and customer specifications in a safe and efficient manner.
This position also packages all products and supplies all customer required documentation.
- Follow proper procedures, including proper documentation, when performing job responsibilities as outlined in the SOPs and the GMP Manual.
- Ensure items are labeled and palletized correctly.
- Follow direction from the folder/gluer operator in gathering necessary components for the production run (required forms, cases, supplemental packaging material, etc.).
- Act as a last line of defense against defects by performing real-time checks on the assets; identify problems in a timely manner and alert leadership to avoid shortages or remakes.
- Package all product and ensure accurate case and row counts.
- Utilize ERP system to complete required customer documentation, palletize orders, and release to finished goods when applicable.
- The ability to understand defects which may be encountered in the manufacturing of folding cartons.
- High school diploma/equivalency required (including ability to read a ruler, perform basic arithmetic, and read and comprehend customer specifications for documentation).
- Prior background in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a regulated industry and/or that utilizes an ERP system.
- Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
- Physical requirements:
twisting, turning, squeezing, grasping, reaching, reaching over equipment, kneeling, crawling, pulling, extended periods of standing, and ability to lift 50 pounds. - Long periods of concentration.
- Speaking, hearing, and vision are essential to performing job functions.
