Nosco is seeking a Digital Press Operator (Digicon) to work second and third shifts at our Pleasant Prairie, WI facility. In this employee‑owner role you will produce printed roll labels to meet on‑time delivery, high‑quality expectations, and customer specifications in a safe and efficient manner.
In This Role- Set up and operate an ABG Digicon or Grafotronics per SOPs and work instructions.
- Die cut, varnish, coat, laminate, slit, and count roll label material to meet customer needs.
- Actively monitor production efficiency and quality while completing all documentation and reporting accurately.
- Learn to troubleshoot machine problems as they pertain to equipment and set up.
- Identify and document quality problems.
- Perform clean‑up/maintenance tasks.
- Maintain a high rate of productivity and meet expectations for set‑up time and run speeds as established by the department leads.
- Preferably +2 years of digital, offset, flexo press experience or other machinery operation experience.
- Some experience with basic quality systems and documentation.
- Positive attitude, coachable, willingness to learn.
- Excellent attendance.
- Flexibility to work overtime and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Light math and ruler skills.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Extended computer work and manual dexterity required; strong concentration, speaking, hearing, and vision essential.
