The Maintenance Mechanic – Packaging supports packaging equipment operations by performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The role reports to the Manager of Packaging & Technology and works closely with Electrical and Automation Technicians.

• Monitor packaging equipment for proper operation, making adjustments and repairs to optimize machine performance.
• Inspect equipment and components to identify hazards, defects, and required adjustments, ensuring compliance with codes.
• Diagnose malfunctioning machines, systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools.
• Clean, lubricate, adjust, and repair machinery and equipment.
• Disassemble machinery to inspect defects and replace worn parts.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, driving equipment improvements.
• Partner with support functions to identify and resolve unplanned downtime events, addressing quality, safety, cost, and other losses.
• Apply continuous‑improvement mindset and problem‑solving techniques to optimize processes.

• Entry‑level mechanical skills; experience with packaging equipment preferred.
• Proficiency using hand and power tools, test instrumentation, and diagnostic techniques.
• Strong collaboration skills; ability to work with Electrical and Automation teams.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
