Field Service Technician

Overview

Do you have experience with machine start-up installation projects? Are you a great communicator and problem solver? Our customer is passionate about advancing and optimizing production processes through a combination of people, technology and sustainability. This position is responsible for the installation and technical support of customer equipment, both onsite and remotely via phone or electronic communication.

• Performing or overseeing the mechanical installation of equipment at customer locations, conducting initial start-up procedures, and providing training to customer personnel.
• Troubleshooting equipment issues, delivering technical guidance, and supporting software-related inquiries.
• Operate in a fast-paced environment and manage travel to customer sites throughout North America, with travel commitments ranging from 60–80% for installation projects.

• Candidates of all experience levels will be considered; however, preference will be given to those with 1–3 years of related experience in field service, electronics manufacturing, or electro-mechanical maintenance. The company is willing to train the right candidate on industry-specific equipment and processes.
• Applicants must be computer proficient and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
