Title: Physical Therapist – Outpatient

Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 – 17:00; some days until 18:00)

Job Responsibilities and Required and Preferred Skills and Requirements:

• Provide 1:1 outpatient physical therapy services in an orthopedic-focused clinic.

• Perform comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, provide ongoing therapy, complete reassessments, and manage discharges.

• Treat a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions including cervical and low back pain, post-operative joint and spine surgeries, total hip and knee replacements, and neurological disorders.

• Deliver one-hour evaluation and treatment sessions with no overlapping patients.

• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and rehabilitation goals.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using Epic.

• Collaborate with physical therapy team members and support staff in a clinic environment with private treatment rooms and shared gym space.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience

• BLS certification

• Active state physical therapy license (pending accepted)

• Travel experience required

• Ability to manage a full outpatient caseload independently

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Epic documentation experience

• Community hospital experience

• Experience treating orthopedic and neurologic patient populations

Work Setting:

• Outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic serving adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
