Overview
Froedtert South is seeking a full-time board-certified/board-eligible Interventional Radiologist to join our team. We are a fully 100% clinically oriented IR practice. No diagnostic radiology commitments. Rare opportunity to contribute to building a dynamic, well-rounded interventional practice.
Since 2023, the practice has grown dramatically and organically with strong relationships with wound care, family practice, hospitalist/ER service, oncology, urology, surgery, hemodialysis access and others. Current treatments offered include PAD/CLI, DVT/May Thurner/IVC Filter, superficial vein ablation, kyphoplasty, UFE, PAE, hemodialysis access, ports, renal ablation, and other image-guided drains and biopsies (no mammography), all performed by the IR service.
We are looking to grow interventional oncology with Y90 approval, and hopefully bring TIPS/BRTO with the support of a multi-IR physician team. The practice is entirely clinical and formal consultations and clinic are expected.
Responsibilities- Practice 100% clinical Interventional Radiology with no diagnostic radiology commitments.
- Provide timely, high-quality IR services across the breadth of interventional procedures.
- Collaborate with a physician team to support a growing interventional program (including planned expansion to Y90, TIPS/BRTO).
- Participate in formal consultations and clinical appointments as part of routine duties.
- Valid state of Wisconsin medical license
- Board-eligible or board-certified Interventional Radiology by the American Board of Radiology
- Completion of an ACGME/AOA-accredited residency/fellowship training in Interventional Radiology
- Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently
