Title: Language Arts/Reading and TAG Teacher
Location: Jr. High
Qualifications- Minimum Provisional Certificate issued by the Iowa Department of Education.
- Minimum BA/BS degree endorsed to meet the needs of the specific assignment.
- Demonstrated proficiency to perform specific assignment.
- Preference given to successful experience at assignment/subject/level.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
- TAG Endorsement.
Building Principal
SupervisesStudents, Teacher Associates and Volunteers as assigned.
Performance ResponsibilitiesBending, carrying, climbing, driving, lifting, pushing-pulling, reaching, sitting, standing, walking.
Terms of Employment- Days of employment: 180 student days, 10 in-service days, 5 holidays, 8-hour work day.
- As outlined in the negotiated SEPEA/Southeast Polk School agreement.
Performance of this job will be evaluated by the building principal according to the guidelines of the master contract.
