Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

ATC Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a travel assignment in Pleasant Hill, California. This role focuses on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders across patient populations.

The SLP will develop individualized treatment plans, provide therapeutic interventions, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to improve patient communication abilities, cognitive function, and overall quality of life. Assignments may include inpatient, outpatient, rehabilitation, or residential care settings depending on facility needs.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized speech therapy treatment plans.
  • Provide therapy for speech articulation, language development, voice, fluency, and cognition.
  • Assess and treat dysphagia and swallowing disorders.
  • Educate patients and families on communication strategies and therapy goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Support patient-centered care and rehabilitation goals.
Qualifications
  • Active California Speech-Language Pathology license.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred/required per facility.
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical SLP experience.
  • Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary environments.
  • Must meet physical and clinical demands of the role.
