APEX is hiring an Engineer 2 to be based in Pleasant Hill or Truckee, CA.
Responsibilities- Conduct field sampling of soil, water, air, and building materials.
- Assist with project engineering design.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data.
- Write high-quality technical reports and proposals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Actively develop your own career growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- HAZWOPER certification.
- 4+ years of related experience with field data collection and technical writing.
- Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, and the add-on program Civil 3D.
- Excellent technical communication skills; strong attention to detail; field adeptness.
- Good safety record and understanding of safe work practices.
- Experience with waterways and dredging is a plus.

Salary range for this position: $80,000–$90,000 annually, depending on experience, education, and location.
