# Food & Nutrition Service Staff Pleasant Grove, UT 84062
Education Level Not Specified Every meal you help prepare and serve supports growing minds and bodies. You’ll play an important role in educating, protecting, and caring for students, helping them soar and become kind, capable humans—and future leaders.
The role of the Foods and Nutrition Service Worker (up to 6 hours per day) includes preparing food items and serving meals to students and faculty. The position operates and cleans equipment while following Serv Safe standards for food preparation, safety, storage, and disposal. The worker may assist the manager or assistant manager with kitchen staff oversight and training and will report directly to the Food Service Manager.
- Ability to acquire and maintain a Food Handler’s Permit or Serv Safe certification prior to beginning work
- Prior food service or related experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to attend required summer training and start work one week prior to the start of school in August
