Job Description The Utah State Hospital is seeking to hire a full-time employee to prepare and serve food for both patients and employees at the Utah State Hospital campus. We are looking for someone who will be a positive addition to the team, willing and capable of the work required to prepare and serve over 1200 daily meals to our patients and staff.
Responsibilities- Prepare and serve food for patients and employees at the Utah State Hospital campus.
- Work to prepare and serve over 1200 daily meals to patients and staff.
- Food handlers permit or Serv Safe certificate.
- Experience cooking in an institutional environment.
- Experience preparing and setting up for catered events.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to adapt to unforeseen changes, such as staffing needs and menu changes.
- May help in maintaining food storage areas.
