The Staff Accountant plays a critical role in supporting our company’s financial integrity by ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis, and compliance. This position will be responsible for performing complex accounting tasks, including month‑end close processes, account reconciliations, and financial reporting, while maintaining adherence to GAAP standards. The Staff Accountant serves as a key member of the finance team, contributing to high‑level financial decisions and supporting continuous improvement within the accounting function.

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and recommend adjustments to support business objectives.

• Execute month‑end and year‑end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring alignment with GAAP standards.
• Perform account analysis and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Provide support to management by supplying financial insights that drive strategic decision‑making.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
• Prepare and provide supporting documentation for audits, including account reconciliations and other financial reports.

• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations.
• Work with the finance team to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

• Strong understanding of GAAP and relevant accounting principles.
• Knowledge of financial reporting tools and ERP systems; experience with [specific ERP software] preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with advanced skills in data analysis and financial modeling.

Minimum of 0‑3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.

Experience with in a corporate finance environment, ideally in a multi‑entity or multi‑location organization.
