As a CAD Technician, you will create electronic design plans using computer software and work closely with Engineers to turn blueprints and technical drawings into 2D/3D computer models.

What are the core responsibilities for the role?

* Prioritize tasks to meet various project requests and deadlines, answering to various engineers and project managers

* Working in Transportation Plan Production

* Create/Modify technical drawings of road, removal, utility, grading, drainage, erosion control, landscaping, signing, striping, signals, lighting designs, etc.

* Collaborate with engineers to ensure that the drawings are correct and represent the design accurately

* Compiling and maintaining the entire plan set of technical drawings

* Ability to apply client standards to development of plan sets

Qualifications, Skills, and

Competencies:

* Knowledge Microstation InRoads and/or Open Roads

* Manage project data files from various sources

* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings; ability to think 3-dimensionally

* Must be able to work independently with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks, with competing priorities

* Be a professional, creative, team-focused individual that works well with others in a team environment

* Be enthusiastic, dedicated, and self-disciplined to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

* Associates degree or equivalent technical degree
