* Job Description:
** The Packaging Engineer is responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing packaging solutions to ensure functionality, durability, and transport integrity. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting issues, creating and maintaining specifications to support manufacturing and product development.
*
* Job Responsibilities:
*** Assist in coordination, set up, and performance of packaging tests to ensure basic functionality, long-term integrity, and transportation integrity of packaging components
* Diagnose and resolve packaging design, material, and process issues
* Manage multiple tasks with moderate supervision
* Identify process improvement opportunities
* Collaborate with sourcing and QA to develop packaging specifications
* Determines packaging specifications based on product requirements and manufacturing principles
* Work with manufacturing, product development, and shipping teams to enhance packaging performance as needed
* Maintains a professional working relationship with internal and external teams
* Prepare and present oral and written project updates and participate in technical discussions

* Job Qualifications:
*** Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, related Engineering degree , or equivalent experience
* 2-4 years' experience in packaging development preferred
* Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments and with external partners
* Understanding of packaging technology, manufacturing and quality risks
* Experience in reading, interpreting, and analyzing technical drawings and specifications for packaging design and development
* Knowledge of packaging validation standards (ISO, ASTM, ISTA, etc.)
* Strong problem solving and organizational skills
* Working knowledge of CAD, MS Office, Excel, Access, Project and SAPdoTERRA International, LLC. is committed to employing a diverse workforce.
