Job Title: Assistant Adaptive Program Coordinator (Part-Time)
Job Location: Pleasant Grove Recreation Center
Hours & Pay: Part-Time (15-20 hours a week), $18 per hour
* This position is currently a summer position, but may become year-round*

Supports the planning and delivery of adaptive recreation programs for individuals with disabilities. Assists with on-site program support, participant engagement, volunteer coordination, and basic program operations to ensure safe, inclusive, and positive experiences.
Responsibilities:- Assist with adaptive programs, classes, events and activities
- Participate in planning summer programs including Jr. Explorer's Camp, Summer Adventure Thursday activities, Monthly Kids Nights, Day Program Summer Activities and more
- Provide direct support to participants and help adapt activities as needed
- Communicate with participants, families, caregivers, and volunteers
- Assist with volunteer support and on-site supervision
- Help with setup, breakdown, attendance tracking and basic documentation
- Follow City and Recreation Department policies and safety procedures
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities in recreation, education, or community settings.
- Strong communication, reliability and teamwork skills.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
- Complete a Background Check.
- Must be at least 18
- Ability to stand, walk and assist with light lifting and equipment setup
