• Facility: Emergency Department (ED), Level 3 Trauma Center
• Assignment Type: Travel nursing contract
• Start Date: November 6, 2025
• End Date: December 4, 2025
• Duration: 4 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour evenings (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2200–$2360
• Weekend/Holiday: Required
• Orientation: 20 hours (short contract)
• EMR System: EPIC (recent experience required)
• Dress Code: Navy blue or white scrubs

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of specialty experience (ER)
• Certifications:
  
  BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA) or ENPC, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (required)
• Ability to manage higher nurse-to-patient ratios (1:5 or higher)
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Reliable personal or rental transportation (no public transit)
• Vehicles must have all-season or snow tires (November–April)

• Deliver comprehensive emergency care to neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Manage caseload in a 29-bed ED, including behavioral health and fast track beds
• Initiate and manage IVs, perform EKGs, and provide respiratory treatments
• Administer medications via Pyxis and document care in EPIC
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including advanced practice providers and crisis clinicians
• Care for diverse patient populations, including psychiatric and COVID patients
• Follow hospital protocols, including zero tolerance for cell phone or earbud use during shifts
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to infection control policies
