Assistant Professor of Dairy Management
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor specializing in Dairy Management and Applied Dairy Nutrition, with an anticipated start date of August 2026. This is a full-time, 9‑month position with responsibilities split 70% research/outreach and 30% teaching/service, funded by the Dairy Innovation Hub.
Key Responsibilities- Develop an independent, externally‑funded, internationally recognized research program focusing on dairy management and applied dairy nutrition, including small ruminant dairy nutrition.
- Integrate research results into outreach education programs addressing state needs.
- Document and communicate the impacts of research, teaching, and outreach to stakeholders, the public, and professional colleagues.
- Secure funding from competitive federal programs and industry partners.
- Demonstrate commitment to the mission and values of the Dairy Innovation Hub and the University of Wisconsin‑Platteville.
