Lab Technician

Description

Learn and follow standard testing protocols and procedures, ensuring adherence to company and industry specifications. Conduct performance testing and analysis of membrane products, including permeability, fouling resistance, selectivity, and other key parameters. Develop and implement testing protocols and procedures in accordance with industry standards and company specifications. Operate and maintain laboratory testing equipment (e.g., filtration systems, analytical instruments). Record, analyze, and interpret test data.

Prepare detailed and accurate reports. Collaborate with senior engineers, chemists, and the R&D team to identify areas for improvement and optimize membrane materials and processes. Troubleshoot testing issues and identify root causes of test discrepancies. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations during testing procedures. Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

Experience with membrane-based technologies (e.g., reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration) is a plus, but not required. Hands-on experience with laboratory testing equipment and data analysis tools would be beneficial, but not essential to success in this role. Chemistry background Meticulous attention to detail Ability to multitask. Self-management of time and priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills MS Office experience, including Excel and PowerPoint Associates Degree in Chemistry Required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
